Impending UAW Strike Puts Ford CEO's Leadership to the Test

Farley blamed Fain for not showing up to the bargaining table and questioned whether he was too busy planning strikes or PR events. The UAW has demanded ambitious targets, including 40% hourly pay increases and a reduced 32-hour workweek. If a deal is not reached by the deadline, targeted strikes at certain plants against Detroit automakers are likely to be implemented.
