Deadly Attacks Shake Russia and Ukraine

Three people, including an 11-year-old girl and her mother, were killed and at least 10 others injured in a missile attack on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, by Russia. The attack, which began at 3 am, was the 18th on the city since May. Ukraine's military said air defences shot down all 10 missiles launched from Russia's Bryansk region. Falling missile debris caused damage to a medical clinic, kindergarten, residential buildings, and cars. The attack was described as a "real genocide" by Andriy Yermak, chief of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office.
