"Israeli Forces Launch 'Localized' Raids in Gaza, Amidst Intensifying Siege and Fleeing Civilians"

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched "localized raids" into the Gaza Strip to clear the area of potential terrorists and locate missing Israelis, in what is seen as a precursor to a full-scale ground invasion. The IDF warned civilians in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes as it intensifies attacks on terrorist targets. Hamas urged residents to stay, but panic ensued as more than one million Palestinians tried to figure out where to go. Meanwhile, Hamas continued to launch rockets at Israel, including a long-range rocket intercepted by the David's Sling air defense system. The IDF struck dozens of drone launch sites in Gaza and is preparing for a likely ground assault.
