"Russia's Massive Drone Assault on Kyiv Marks New Height in Conflict"

Russia launched its largest drone attack on Kyiv, Ukraine's capital, since the start of the invasion, with nearly 75 Shahed drones targeting the city. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 71 of the drones, but the majority were intercepted in the Kyiv region. Anti-aircraft missile troops, tactical aviation, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the attack. Several locations in Kyiv caught fire, and at least two people were injured. The attack also caused a power outage in the city center.
