Ukrainian Forces Achieve Breakthrough in Verbove, Utilizing Captured Russian Tanks and Armored Vehicles
TL;DR
Ukrainian forces have reportedly broken through in Verbove, according to the general leading the counteroffensive along the southern front line. While the advance is slower than expected, Ukrainian officials believe they are making inroads on the southern front in the war with Russia. The ultimate goal is to break Russia's "land bridge" connecting its territory in the east with annexed Crimea. The general also mentioned the presence of the Wagner mercenary group and the importance of striking Crimea for the success of Ukraine's counteroffensive.
