Leeor Katz, a resident of the Nir Oz kibbutz near the Gaza Strip, was visiting her husband's family when Hamas militants invaded the kibbutz, burning down houses and kidnapping an estimated 150 people. Katz's family members, including her mother, sister, brother, and nieces, were among those taken hostage.
