Surviving Hamas: A Woman's Tale of Escape and Resilience
Leeor Katz, a resident of the Nir Oz kibbutz near the Gaza Strip, was visiting her husband's family when Hamas militants invaded the kibbutz, burning down houses and kidnapping an estimated 150 people. Katz's family members, including her mother, sister, brother, and nieces, were among those taken hostage. Despite ongoing airstrikes and preparations for a possible land incursion, Katz has received no information about the well-being or whereabouts of her family, leaving her fearful and desperate for any news.
