Jason Aldean's Controversial Song Sparks Backlash and Defiant Response
TL;DR
CMT has pulled Jason Aldean's controversial music video "Try That in a Small Town" from the air after facing backlash. Aldean defended the song on social media, claiming it does not reference race and portrays a positive attitude towards small towns. However, critics argue that the video contains belligerent threats and racially charged imagery. It remains to be seen if there will be any fallout at country radio, as the song has already been added to 125 stations.
