Resuming Contract Talks: Hollywood Writers Return to Work, Overall Deals Reinstated
TL;DR
SAG-AFTRA officials have insisted on changing the venue for their contract negotiations with the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) when talks resume on Monday. The guild was not satisfied with the setup at the AMPTP's offices in Sherman Oaks, CA, where negotiations for all guilds and unions have historically taken place. It is unclear where the negotiations will now be held. SAG-AFTRA went on strike on July 14, marking the first actors strike against the film and TV industry since 1980.
