Lab-grown meat gains approval for sale in the US.

Two companies have been given the green light to create "lab-grown chicken" - meat made from animal cells without slaughtering a chicken. While two restaurants will be the first to serve it, one of them in D.C., reactions from consumers have been mixed. Some are willing to try it because it is not slaughtered, while others are uncomfortable with the idea of eating meat made in a lab. The companies making the product expect hesitation from some when it comes to trying this new type of chicken.
