"Biden and Saudi Crown Prince MBS reconcile with warm handshake at G20 summit"
TL;DR
President Joe Biden shook hands with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the G20 summit in India, despite previous backlash for their interaction. The leaders announced their countries' participation in an international infrastructure and economic partnership. The relationship between the two leaders has drawn criticism due to Saudi Arabia's human rights record. The economic partnership aims to counter China's New Silk Road project and promote connectivity between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
