China Calls for Restraint Following Hamas Attack on Israel

China has called for calm and urged relevant parties to exercise restraint and end hostilities following Hamas' attack on Israel from Gaza. However, an Israeli diplomat in Beijing expressed disappointment, stating that calling for a two-state solution during ongoing violence is not appropriate. The conflict has resulted in numerous casualties, mostly civilians, with fighting continuing.
