Russia Allegedly Plots Incendiary Attacks on US and Canada-Bound Planes
TL;DR
Russia is suspected of orchestrating a covert operation to place incendiary devices on flights bound for the US and Canada, according to Western security officials cited by the Wall Street Journal. The devices, disguised as electric massagers, ignited in Germany and the UK in July, prompting investigations. While Russia denies involvement, Polish authorities have arrested four individuals linked to international sabotage, and an international search is underway for additional suspects. The operation is believed to be part of a broader Russian effort to disrupt NATO supply lines.
