"NASA Map Reveals Path of Total Solar Eclipse Across US in 2024"

NASA has released a map showing the paths for the 2023 annular eclipse and the 2024 total solar eclipse. The annular eclipse will cross the western and southern regions of the U.S. on Oct. 14, 2023, while the total eclipse path, on April 8, 2024, goes from Texas to Maine. The map shows the best positions to witness the eclipses and the times when the moon's shadow will appear. The last total solar eclipse visible from the United States occurred in 2017.
