NASA Astronaut Frank Rubio Concludes Record-Setting Yearlong Space Station Mission

NASA astronaut Frank Rubio, along with his crewmates, is returning to Earth after completing a record-setting yearlong stay aboard the International Space Station. Their mission was extended by six months due to a coolant leak on their Soyuz spacecraft, which required a replacement to be launched. The crew is expected to undock from the space station and make a parachute-assisted landing in Kazakhstan. This marks the longest flight in U.S. space history, surpassing the previous record of 355 days.
