NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission delivers largest asteroid sample to Earth

NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft is set to deliver the largest asteroid sample yet, as it drops off at least a cupful of rubble collected from the asteroid Bennu. The sample capsule will parachute into the Utah desert while the spacecraft continues its mission to explore another asteroid. This marks NASA's third sample return from deep space and will provide valuable insights into the formation of our solar system. The sample will be studied at NASA's Johnson Space Center, and this mission is part of a series of asteroid missions planned by NASA.
