SpaceX Set to Launch 22 Starlink Satellites from California and Florida

SpaceX is set to launch the largest batch of second-generation Starlink satellites from the West Coast, marking the 50th Starlink launch of the year. The Falcon 9 rocket will carry 22 satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, with backup launch times available. This will be followed by another Starlink delivery mission on the same day from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch from California will be the first time a Falcon 9 carries 22 V2 Mini satellites from the West Coast, potentially due to improved performance or reduced weight. The booster will make its seventh flight and attempt a landing on a droneship. Successful deployment will bring the total number of Starlink satellites in orbit to 4,989.
