Successful Separation: Indian Moon Lander Detaches from Propulsion Module

The lander module of India's Chandrayaan-3 mission has successfully separated from the propulsion module, marking a key step towards a planned moon landing on August 23. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) confirmed the successful separation and stated that the propulsion module will continue its journey in the current orbit for further studies. If successful, India will become the fourth country to achieve a controlled landing on the lunar surface.
