TL;DR

The Denver Broncos have traded veteran pass rusher Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick and a seventh-round pick. The Broncos will pay Gregory $10 million for the remainder of the 2023 season, while the 49ers will pay him the veteran minimum. The trade is seen as a low-risk, high-reward move for the 49ers, who add depth to their already strong defense, while the Broncos offload a player they were planning to release.
