Gus Malzahn Leaves UCF to Lead FSU's Offense as Coordinator
TL;DR
Gus Malzahn is resigning as UCF's head coach to become the offensive coordinator at Florida State, reuniting with Mike Norvell. Malzahn, who led UCF to a 4-8 record this season, will take over play-calling duties for the Seminoles, who have struggled offensively. This move follows a trend of Power Conference coaches stepping down to become coordinators, as seen with Chip Kelly last year.
