Legge Sets Sights on Historic Indy–NASCAR Double

Katherine Legge, 45, is aiming to become the first woman to complete the NASCAR-IndyCar “Double” by racing both the Indy 500 and Coca‑Cola 600 on the same Memorial Day weekend. Only five drivers have attempted the feat, with Tony Stewart the only one to succeed; others include John Andretti, Robbie Gordon, Kurt Busch, and Kyle Larson. Legge brings NASCAR Cup and Indy 500 experience and says the plan is meticulously organized, hoping to push more women into racing and mentor the next generation.
