July Fourth Forecast: Scattered Storms and Heat Persist

Central and southern Minnesota are experiencing hot and sweaty weather, with temperatures reaching well into the 90s. Showers and thunderstorms are developing in the steamy conditions, with storms likely to become more numerous and some potentially becoming severe, mainly around the Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin. A cold front on Tuesday will bring rain to most of the state, with some storms possibly disrupting picnics and fireworks displays.
