Hezbollah escalates strike from Lebanon as Iran-led war widens, IDF says

The IDF says Hezbollah stepped into the Iran‑led war from Lebanon, launching about 200 rockets after Tehran suffered heavy blows; US‑Israeli strikes have hit thousands of Iran targets and degraded much of Iran’s air defenses and ballistic-missile launchers, while Hezbollah has added more than 1,000 drones, missiles and rockets to the fight. Israel has attacked Hezbollah sites in Lebanon and tightened border readiness for a possible ground operation, with the army reporting roughly 1,900 Iranian soldiers killed and warning that Iranian leaders directing attacks from Lebanon would be targeted.
