Israel Escalates Strikes on Gaza and Lebanon Border, Vows to Increase Attacks on Hamas

Israel's military spokesman, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, announced plans to increase attacks on the Gaza Strip as part of the next stage of its war on Hamas, while urging residents of Gaza City to head south for their safety. Deliveries of aid have begun moving into Gaza, with just 20 trucks crossing the border out of over 200 positioned near the crossing. The death toll in Gaza has reached 4,385, including 1,756 children and 967 women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Israel also claims that Hamas released two American hostages on Friday.
