Ukrainian grain imports cause tension in Eastern Europe

Poland has suspended all imports of grain from Ukraine temporarily, following a meeting between the two countries' agriculture ministers. The move comes after Ukraine proposed to severely restrict or stop completely grain arrivals to Poland. The restrictions will not extend to the transit of grain intended for other countries. The decision was made due to the flooding of local markets with Ukrainian produce, which has caused unrest among farmers in Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria.
