UN and Ukraine devise backup plan for Black Sea grain exports.

Ukraine's farm minister has proposed a "plan B" to continue exporting grain across the Black Sea without Russian backing if the current grain export deal collapses. Russia has already blocked the use of Ukraine's major Black Sea port of Pivdennyi despite the deal and is allowing only one ship a day to deliver Ukrainian food to certain countries. The minister suggested that the government could offer insurance guarantees for companies to continue shipping without Russia's involvement in a new deal.
