Unearthing the Sunken Riches: Exploring the Legendary Maravillas Shipwreck's Scattered Trail

After four years of underwater archaeology, Allen Exploration has discovered a scatter trail of treasure from the Spanish galleon Maravillas, which sank off the coast of the Bahamas over three centuries ago. The trail, spanning over three miles, includes artifacts such as silver coins, gold jewelry, emeralds, and silver bars. The findings challenge the belief that the wreck had been salvaged completely, as previous salvage operations had allegedly recovered 30 tons of treasure. The scatter trail suggests that the treasures were scattered before the Spanish salvage operations began in 1656.
