Israeli forces kill 2 Palestinian gunmen in West Bank attacks.

Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in a raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The military claims the men were involved in a shooting attack that wounded an Israeli civilian earlier in the week. Hamas said the men were members of one of its branches and had engaged in armed struggle against the Israeli military. The deaths raised to 111 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since the start of 2021. The raid followed an exchange of cross-border attacks between Israel and Gaza earlier in the week after intensifying violence that has seen repeated Israeli incursions in the occupied West Bank, as well as attacks by Palestinians on Israelis.
