Ukraine's Air Force intercepted 18 missiles launched by Russia at the country overnight, including six Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles fired from six MiG-31K aircraft, nine Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea, and three land-based missiles (S-400, Iskander-M). Ukraine also destroyed drones launched by Russia overnight. Meanwhile, Ukraine claims Russian forces are no longer capable of large-scale offensive action and are mainly on the defensive, but Moscow is able to sustain the current rate of missile attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is still pressing allies to provide Kyiv with modern fighter jets, specifically US-made F-16s.
