Israeli Forces Accused of Raiding Gaza Hospitals and Creating 'Hell on Earth'

The health ministry in Gaza has accused Israeli forces of firing at hospital rooms and torturing staff members, raising concerns for the safety of 12 children in paediatric care. The Kamal Adwan hospital was reportedly stormed by Israeli forces, resulting in the deaths of two mothers in the maternity department. Hospital director Ahmed al-Kahlot and other staff members were detained and allegedly subjected to torture. Israeli forces have also targeted Al-Awda hospital, depriving it of essential resources and preventing the wounded and sick from reaching it. The military has previously raided medical facilities in Gaza, accusing Hamas of using hospitals as command centers. The ongoing conflict has severely impacted healthcare in the region, with only one hospital in northern Gaza able to admit patients and just 14 out of 36 hospitals functioning.
