IDF Captain Reei Biran Killed in Gaza

IDF Captain Reei Biran, a 21-year-old squad commander in the Golani Reconnaissance Unit, was killed during a military operation in the southern Gaza Strip while rigging buildings with explosives, which subsequently detonated. He was posthumously promoted to captain, and his funeral is scheduled for July 11. Since the last ceasefire, 41 soldiers have been killed in Gaza, with a total of 890 casualties since the start of the war.
