Norway Enlists in France’s European Nuclear Deterrence Initiative

Norway joined France’s plan to deepen European nuclear deterrence cooperation, joining several European allies in Paris's effort to rethink security amid Russia’s actions. Paris and Oslo also signed the Narvik defense and security pact to boost dialogue, air defense, space and Arctic security, while Norway remains under NATO protection and said no nuclear weapons would be deployed on Norwegian soil in peacetime.
