China and five Central Asian countries agreed to establish various mechanisms and partnerships to promote cooperation in areas such as transportation, agriculture, energy, and culture. They will also align the Belt and Road Initiative with the development strategies of the Central Asian countries and expand cooperation in high-tech fields. The two sides will promote exchanges between universities and college students, and implement green measures to mitigate the impact of climate change.
