Devastating Downpours Exacerbate Gaza's Humanitarian Crisis
TL;DR
Torrential rains in southern Gaza have caused flooding and disease among the thousands of displaced Palestinians living in makeshift tents. The war has already killed thousands and displaced 90% of Gaza's population. The heavy rains have exacerbated the already distressed health-care system, leading to a public health disaster. Aid operations are being jeopardized by Israel's evacuation orders, making it difficult to provide food and assistance to those in need.
