The region is facing a water crisis, with only 5% of its usual daily water output available, putting children at risk of dehydration. Additionally, over 800,000 children in Gaza were already in need of mental health and psychosocial support before the recent escalation of violence. The dire situation calls for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and the opening of access crossings for the safe delivery of aid, including water, food, medical supplies, and fuel.
