"UNICEF: 14 Million Sudanese Children in Dire Need of Humanitarian Support"

UNICEF warns that 14 million children in Sudan are in dire need of humanitarian support, with over 1.7 million children forced out of their homes and facing risks of hunger, disease, violence, and family separation. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 435 children and injuries to over 2,025. Additionally, 3 million children under five are malnourished, with 700,000 at risk of severe acute malnutrition, and 1.7 million children under one are at risk of missing critical vaccinations. The UN has also highlighted that over 20 million people in Sudan are facing severe hunger, nearly double the figure from last year.
