Yemen's Stalemated War and Lack of Aid: A Glimmer of Hope Amidst Child Hunger

Yemen is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with at least 20 million people in need of food assistance. The ongoing civil war, which began in 2014, has resulted in over 377,000 deaths, primarily due to hunger and lack of healthcare. Women and children are particularly vulnerable, with 1.3 million pregnant or nursing women and 2.2 million children suffering from acute malnutrition. Despite hopes for peace, the number of people requiring medical attention or hospitalization due to malnutrition has not decreased, and there is a lack of international aid reaching Yemen.
