"Israeli Use of AI-Equipped Drones for Targeted Killings in Gaza"

A Geneva-based human rights group has published an investigation revealing that Israeli forces have been using small unmanned drones equipped with explosives, machine guns, and artificial intelligence to attack civilians in the Gaza Strip. The drones, including the Matrice 600 and LANIUS models, have been responsible for dozens of civilian deaths. The use of AI-equipped drones in combat zones has been described as a "nightmare scenario," and while the use of drones is not prohibited under international law, Israel is intentionally using them to target Palestinian civilians in Gaza, according to the human rights group.
