Armenia denies alliance with Russia in Ukraine conflict

Russia launched its sixth consecutive day of attacks on Kyiv, Ukraine, with 15 missiles and 21 drones shot down by air-defense forces. Two people were wounded in the attacks, which hit residential areas. Kyiv has been targeted by 19 waves of Russian air strikes since the start of May, with three people killed and 11 injured on June 1. China's Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui, has offered to mediate the situation and is willing to send another delegation for further peace talks. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called the invasion of Ukraine a "strategic failure" for Russia and said the United States was working with Ukraine and other allies to build consensus around a "just and lasting peace" to end the war.
