Russian Military Aircrafts Shot Down by Belarus President Lukashenko

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko appears to have confirmed that four Russian military aircraft were shot down near the Ukraine-Belarus border, before the Kremlin officially acknowledged the incident. The crews on all four aircraft were killed, and it is still unclear who is responsible for the downing. The crash signifies the most Russian aircraft lost in a single day since March 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been securing further munitions as Ukraine mounts a building counteroffensive in Bakhmut.
