Putin Blames Wagner for Killing Russian Pilots in Ukraine Mutiny

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirms that pilots were killed during the failed Wagner mutiny and thanks Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for brokering a peaceful resolution. US President Joe Biden says the US and its allies were not involved in the uprising and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius says Germany is prepared to station a 4,000-member army brigade in Lithuania permanently in coordination with NATO defense planning. Ukraine has reclaimed some 130 square kilometers from Russian forces along the southern front line since the start of the counteroffensive, and the Australian government will provide a new AUD 110 million military assistance package to Ukraine.
