Armenian PM Acknowledges Strategic Mistake in Relying Solely on Russia for Security

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has criticized Russia for failing to ensure Armenia's security against aggression from neighboring Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Pashinyan stated that relying solely on Russia for security was a strategic mistake, as Moscow is in the process of reducing its role in the region. He emphasized the need for Armenia to diversify its security arrangements, including strengthening ties with the European Union and the United States. Pashinyan also accused Russian peacekeepers of failing to uphold the ceasefire deal in Nagorno-Karabakh.
