China Deploys 6 Warships to Middle East Amid Israel War
TL;DR
Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, up to six Chinese warships have been operating in the Middle East, conducting joint exercises and goodwill visits in countries like Oman and Kuwait. This comes as the United States has increased its naval presence in the region, deploying advanced carriers and intercepting Houthi missiles in the Red Sea. While tensions between China and the US have risen due to the Ukraine conflict, the likelihood of direct confrontation between their navies in the Middle East remains low.
