Taiwan's Foreign Minister Joseph Wu expressed skepticism of China's push to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine, stating "we ain't no idiots." This comes as Chinese President Xi Jinping visits Russia and Japan's Prime Minister meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Wu criticized China's proposal, stating that both autocrats should stop their threats, aggression, and expansionism. US officials have also rejected China's 12-point peace plan for Ukraine, which Russian President Vladimir Putin complimented during his meeting with Xi.
