Controversy Surrounds Hamas Leader's Address at Pro-Palestine Rally in Kerala

Former Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal virtually addressed a pro-Palestine rally in Kerala's Malappuram district organized by the Solidarity Movement. The rally, titled "Youth Resistance Rally," aimed to oppose Hindutva and Zionism. Meshaal's address was pre-recorded, and the organizers described him as a "freedom fighter." The presence of Hamas leaders at the rally drew criticism from the state president of the BJP, who labeled it alarming and glorification of a terrorist organization. However, the organizers defended the presence, stating that Hamas is a resistance movement and not banned in India. They vowed to continue similar programs against the Hindutva-Zionist alliance.
