Eastern European Countries Unite to Supply Ammunition for Ukraine

Greece will supply artillery shells to Ukraine through a Czech Republic-led initiative, with the transfer costs to be reimbursed by other nations. The munitions, including various types of shells, fuses, and propellant, will come from Greek army warehouses and will help address Ukraine's long-running shell shortage. Several European countries have pledged financial support for the $1.9 billion initiative, with Germany being the largest contributor. Additionally, plans for increased artillery shell production in various European countries and a joint US-Turkey ammunition production project have been announced to address the growing demand for artillery shells.
