"Hezbollah Commander Killed in Israeli Airstrike; Intensified Conflict on Israel-Lebanon Border"

Hezbollah claims that one of its top commanders, Jawad Al-Taweel, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon. Ongoing cross-border skirmishes between Israel and Hezbollah have resulted in more than 130 Hezbollah fighters dead since Hamas launched its war against Israel on Oct. 7. Israeli officials have denied involvement in the strike, but Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that Lebanon would be "exposed" to Israeli attacks if his group does not respond to the death of a high-ranking Hamas official allegedly killed in a separate Israeli airstrike.
