Israel Launches Airstrikes on Syrian Outposts and Bases in Homs Province.

Israel reportedly carried out air strikes on Syrian air bases in Homs province, where Iranian personnel are based, according to Western intelligence sources. The Syrian defence ministry confirmed that outposts in Homs were targeted, but did not specify which ones. This is the third Israeli strike in Syria since Thursday and comes a day after an attack that killed an officer in Iran's Revolutionary Guards. Israel has long targeted what it describes as Iran-linked targets in Syria, where Tehran's influence has grown since it began supporting President Bashar al-Assad in the conflict that began in 2011.
