Israel's Warning to Iran: Nuclear Developments Could Trigger Action.

The chief of Israel's armed forces, Lieutenant-General Herzi Halevi, has warned of "negative developments on the horizon that could bring about (military) action" against Iran's nuclear program. However, he did not specify what those developments might be or what action might be taken. Meanwhile, Israeli National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi played down the immediate threat posed by a new underground nuclear facility being dug by Tehran, saying it was "years away from being completed". The US and Israel have no significant difference on potential "red lines" for last-resort military action, Hanegbi added.
