"Jordan Takes Stand Against Israeli Carnage, Recalls Ambassador in Protest"

Jordan has recalled its ambassador from Israel and asked Israel's ambassador not to return to Amman in protest of the "humanitarian catastrophe" in the Gaza Strip and the civilian death toll in Israel's war against Hamas. This comes after Colombia and Chile also recalled their envoys, and Bolivia suspended all diplomatic ties with Israel. Jordan, the second Arab state to make peace with Israel, has faced calls to rescind its peace treaty due to the war. The US President spoke with Jordan's King Abdullah to discuss humanitarian aid and preventing the conflict from spreading.
